Set photo app to “Photo” only

One of my biggest frustrations with phone photos and touch screens is that it seems every time I go to take a picture, the settings have accidentally switched, say to portrait, or Video...or burst mode. I would like the ability to fix my phone camera on Photo ( or something of my choosing) for the duration of my Horizon session. I note that Spectora appears to do this very thing.
