The illustration although useful, is a little contradictory. During an inspection, a client is usually advised that the service switch for the furnace is to be in the room of the appliance, at the door as illustrated and at a height that is higher than a normal light switch to differentiates it from a light switch. Your switch locations show it at regular height.
It is also common to see a specific cover that is red, and identified as Boiler or Furnace now and that may be incorporated into the update.
