Offline switch for Mobile 3

When working in areas with poor mobile data coverage the automatic sync causes the app to hang or be very slow especially when adding photos. The work around provided is to put the phone in airplane mode but this is problematic.
A switch to work offline or turn sync off would be a great addition to the app.
