Re-Inspection Template
From any standard report, it would be very useful to be able to generate a re-inspection template that (a) presented only items from the original summary report (b) allowed the user to mark each item with findings such as REPAIRED, INCOMPLETELY REPAIRED, INCORRECTLY REPAIRED, NO VISIBLE CHANGE, NOT VERIFIRED, etc. (c) presented the results in the form of a new PDF document linked or coded to the original report.

Derle ParmerDavid, I recommend you use the Action List for this feature. You can select the defect, keep your comments and add the following so it’s easy to track your findings- REINSPECTION COMMENT: The repair is sufficient, insufficient etc. Hope this helps in the meantime.

Derle ParmerDavid, They need to create another Action LIst in Profile for us to setup. The programming is already there... just let us change the name.
I use the Action List for reinspections. It generates its own PDF and I add new comments if needed. Usually just a quickly pasted comment like COMPLETED or a new comment if needed. -

How do you capture the fee for the re-inspection? (So you have the date of the fee, the amount, etc calculating into Horizon's "business at a glance" items.) -

Derle Parmer@Ruth Ann, I don't use any invoice integration with Horizon so the business at a glance won't work for me. I just invoice separately and add a note in the work order about the reinspection.

Eric EvansThis is a great idea and one I struggle with often. It seems like I do it differently every time trying to find a better way of doing it.
