Video Clips or Video inspection
Clients are very visual & a video helps them understand the inspection by the inspector narrating the inspection. It may take a little more time upfront but it will help them better understand your pics that are highlighted.

John Ciambello MergedMany reporting software are making it possible to add videos to their reports. Is this something that is in the works for Horizon?

Tom WoolleyThis would be a good feature to have built into Horizon. A workaround is to upload the video to dropbox or similar. Include the link in your report.

Ross BowenI feel they should be top priority to add this feature to our mobile app multiple competitors are doing same and we are losing business due to this

Robert g pecarThey'd have to change the entire report format though. The video inclusive inspection reports that I've seen are completely on-line whereas our PDF is web-friendly, I don't think they'd be able to "embed" it in into a PDF report like it does now.
I keep a google drive for videos. Sewer scopes, crawl bot vids, or just short clips from my phone. I'll upload them and link to them in the report. It has worked out well for a couple of years now. I'm starting to think unsearchable video uploads to youtube would be better though as I wouldn't have to pay for the additional storage. That also may be a limiting factor and why this hasn't been implemented yet, server storage space and bandwidth. -

Charles AxelradThis would be great. PDFs can embed video natively so it should be possible to inegrate it. Or a link to an unlisted YouTube video that visually displays as a video that can be clicked on?

Jesse SSuch a valuable part of other software I’ve used. So much faster and more effective to show a video of something that moves/has functionality than try to describe it. Also better for legal CYA.

Emily BVideo should be supported for drone footage, for defects that can only be captured in motion, for extrapolation for improved client understanding, to offer better services to improve the viability of our business and business growth. Other companies offer this feature, so this not being offered here could also affect your business. And folks have been asking for years. Horizon should be in front of the curve, not always behind it.
