Provide a visual indication (on the data-entry pages) that an item has been put in the Summary

When a item is selected for inclusion in the report, the item button changes colour from white to blue. NEXT: When a selected item is selected for the Summary, change the colour again (eg to yellow), so that I am reminded at glance what I've have and haven't put in the Summary.
